People are dying by the thousands in Liberia and Sierra Leone. Most of which are not succumbing to the Ebola virus that has brought about all the deaths; it is due to starvation, accidents, violence, and medical facilities refusing treatment of curable aliments.
- Starvation Food is currently difficult for most to acquire because of food prices have skyrocketed due to a near total crash of the economy; many stores have closed and/or store owners have died.
- Accidents and Violence People are so fearful, they are resorting to desperate measures in order to survive. Individuals are fearful, frustrated, and irrational. Total chaos has ensued.
- Medical Treatment Refusal Many medical personal have died or have left. Several hospitals have closed down. The few that are still open are grossly overcrowded. People are being turn away that could easily be treated. They are left to die in the streets.
Please help Pastor Joseph in Liberia and Pastor Emmanuel in Sierra Leone. They are doing all they can to help the people there, but their supplies are meager at best. Food and pure drinking water are most needed. We have known both these pastors for several years now and can vouch for their credibility and character. All donations specific to this relief effort will go to the need (100%). PLEASE HELP ASAP!!! Lives are in the balance.
